Obituary

Robert “Bob” Paul Green, of Adelphi, Md., crossed over the river on May 17, 2017 to be with the Lord. To the world he was known as Bob, but to his family, “Buddy.”

Buddy grew up in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. and had many careers in his life. Among his life’s adventures and careers, he was a volunteer and paid firefighter and a federal government employee holding positions in various agencies. He was a good Christian and attended the First Baptist Church of Morristown, Tn. He was also an amateur radio operator and a member of the Lakeway Amateur Radio Club in Hamblen County.

He is preceded in life by his parents, Robert C. and Betty G. Green; sister, Nancy Carrigg Green; and his lovely wife, Bonnie Lee Green.

Buddy leaves behind his two daughters, Kimbery Green and Kristen Sands; grandson, Zachary Green; sister, Beryl Lowman; and his brother, Bryan Green. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and grandnieces; all who will miss him dearly.

In lieu of flowers or cards, please make donations to the Lakeway Amateur Radio Club, P O Box 1138, Talbott, TN 37877.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with the interment in the Bean Station Cemetery, across from 119 Wright Lane.
